A New Era for Razor Clamming
Recreational razor clamming is enjoyed by hundreds of thousands of people each year. From Alaska to British Columbia, from Washington to Oregon, and all the way down to California, families and friends gear up, dig clams, and gather to share stories, techniques, and recipes. Razor clamming on the Pacific Coast is a time-honored tradition that connects generations.
By founding the Razor Clam Society, we hope to bring clammers together and connect our community to current marine biology research and the governmental departments managing the environment, licensing, and fish & wildlife. The clamming community has a lot to talk about, let’s not clam up.
